Description

Percy explores the body and enables children to learn about related topics in this title for 3-6 year olds.

Focussing on the themes of ‘Ourselves’ and ‘Health & Growth’, a selection of activities are provided for children to practice recognising and labelling parts of the body, understanding the senses and differences and similarities between people. Vocabulary appropriate to the age group is used throughout this title which also covers the topic of ‘looking after yourself’.

Percy’s Body Explorer is supplied with printable worksheets and features 3 levels of difficulty with narrated text. Suitable for unsupervised use, this title also includes an extensive teacher’s section.

Each of the six activities within Percy's Body Explorer can be easily accessed from the main menu. From here the options section can also be accessed.

This activity tests the players knowledge of parts of the body by requiring them to correctly label each part.

The player must click the correct images in this activity to identify the image related to a given sense.

Here the player must try and match the young and old versions of the same image.

The player must watch the changing television screen carefully in this activity and click the button when the picture matches the criteria supplied by Percy.

Look carefully at the pictures as they come off the conveyor belt and sort them into the correct bin, based on whether they are young or old.

Percy will ask the player to click on two picture cards that show faces with certain characteristics. For example, hair colour and style, eye colour and gender.
