The Learner's Library: Transport

Introduction

Not another encyclopedia! A reference CD designed for Key Stage 1 that includes colour photographs, sound effects and video for a variety of different land, air and sea transport.  Presented in a clear way, pupils can read from two different levels of text for each entry, which is also fully narrated for non-readers.  Each entry can be retrieved through the menu, index or a search facility.  Activities based on vehicles, a scrapbook, spoken glossary and printable worksheets are all included in the program, which is fully configurable by the teacher.
