General Comments
Focuses on four main activities involving the building of words: word builder, sorting room, blending room and sentence builder.
Activities all very interactive, e.g. pulling levers, pressing buttons, moving words.
All activities all well thought out, helping pupils to practice phonics combinations or letter strings.
‘Sorting Room’ activity focuses on ‘word sorts’, recommended in the Dfes ‘Spelling Bank’.
Teacher is able to easily edit word lists, or create new ones.
Enables the importing and exporting of files.
Summary/opinion
Excellent resource for the classroom.
Highly motivating CD and brilliant for the reinforcement of phonic work or letter strings.
Ability to add and edit word lists invaluable.
Great for the literacy hour.
