The main menu
provides easy access to any of the six activities,
the teacher's section or the word list setup
section.

Level
Choice
The player can
choose from one of three levels of difficulty either
at the start of each session or activity.
|

Word
List Choice
Unless the teacher
sets the program to use a random or specific word
list, a word list has to be chosen before playing
each game.

Balloon
Burst
In this activity,
the player must watch for the word to find on the
balloons that float past the screen. As soon
as they see it, they must click the balloon to burst
it.

Word
Labels
This activity
requires the player to click and drag the labels to
make proper words.
|
|
|

Letter
Squares
The player must
type in the missing letters from those at the bottom
of the screen to correctly spell the words shown.
|
|

Word
Bingo
Percy will ask the
player to find a specific word on the bingo card in
this activity. The word is optionally spoken
to the player as well.
|

 |
Make
a Word
In this activity,
the player will see two halves of a word. They
must decide whether it makes a whole word and click
on the yes or no button.
|

|
 |
Flowers
The player must
listen and look carefully at the words on the
flowers to see which one rhymes with the word Percy
says.

Word
List Setup
The word list setup
screen makes it easy to edit the existing word lists
or add your own word lists for each activity.
This is useful for tailoring an activity to an
individual or group.

Recording
Page
Percy has already
recorded the speech for over 2000 words into Percy's
World Of Words, however it's also easy to record
your own speech in this section.

Teacher's
Section
In the teacher's
section you can change various program and activity
settings, as well as deciding which activities are
available for the player.

Certificates
The certificate
printing section allows you to enter the date, your
school's name and the pupils' name to print a
certificate.
