Main Menu

The Paws Explore main menu allows the player to easily access each of the six activities.  It also provides quick access to the teacher settings and white board sections.

Level Choice

Each activity features three levels of difficulty.  The level can be selected by the teacher or at the start of each session/activity.

Number Blocks

This activity, that focuses on the topic on place value, encourages the player to make the number shown, using the number blocks.

Number Rounding

The player must read the number shown and click on the button that shows the number rounded to the nearest 10 or 100.

Book Shelf

The player must sequence the numbers correctly in this activity, by clicking and dragging the labels.

Lily Pads

In this activity, the player must correctly fill in the missing numbers on the number line, by typing in their answer.

Sweet Shop

In this activity, the player will see a selection of sweets.  They must estimate the number of sweets shown and click on the correct button, before the sweets are counted.

Number Quiz

This quiz activity poses a number of different questions that include relevant vocabulary about numbers.

In the teacher's section you can adjust program settings, such as the activities that are available, how many questions are asked and individual activity settings.

Extensive record keeping facilities are included that allow the teacher to track each child's progress.

A whiteboard section is included in Paws Explore: Numbers that features a large number of screens, designed especially for class teaching.

In this sample whiteboard screen, the user is presented with an on-screen abacus.

The teacher can easily produce a individual certificates for presentation to the players.
