The main menu allows easy access to the four main areas of the program. From here the teachers can also access the setings and resources area. |

Level Selection
Three reading levels are available in the story that use different levels of vocabulary and language. The teacher can preset the reading level or leave the choice fror the player. |

Story Book
The fully narrated story can be customised to it's setting by altering the options in the teacher settings. Workds can be highlighted as they are read, pages set to turn automatically and buttons saet to be either on or off. Unfamiler words can also be selected and their definition is shown. |

An index is presented throughout the book allowing children to locate information using this tool. |

Glossary
All new vocabulary encountered within this topic can be found in the glossary. All glossary entries have a fully narrated definition. |

Notepad
The notpad allows the player to make notes as they find out about Florence Nightingale. These can be saved, opened at a later date, and printed. |

The Florence's life timeline activity allows the player to order the events in Florence Nightingales life correctly, the difficulty can be altered by using the pieces with or without dates. |
